Important information related to Airline travel with an infant

Below are the regulations in regards to travelling with an infant on Qantas and Jetstar Airlines. Infants who do not occupy a seat at the time of flying will travel for free on Domestic and Trans-Tasman services (flights between Australia and New Zealand). An infant fee will apply for all other services. A child fare will need to be purchased for infants who have turned two. Infants over 2 years of age on an inbound flight who were under 2 years on the outbound flight, may travel for the applicable infant fee, or for free if none is applicable, providing they are not occupying a seat.
